Amitabh Bachchan acts as Ashwatthama in the film Kalki 2898 AD

Many people on the internet are asking about Ashwatthama and his story after watching the new teaser for “Kalki 2898 AD” with Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan is getting a lot of attention online today because of his changed appearance in the movie “Kalki 2898 AD.” In the film, he portrays the immortal Ashwatthama, a significant character from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. While the movie’s storyline is loosely based on the epic and has a sci-fi fantasy twist, Amitabh’s character has strong ties to the legend.

In the teaser released on Sunday, a young Amitabh Bachchan appears as Ashwatthama, looking beaten up and with a shiny gemstone on his forehead. A child asks him, “Are you God? Why can’t you die? Who are you?” He answers, “Since the Dwapar Yug, I have been waiting for the 10th incarnation. I am Ashwatthama, Dronacharya’s son.”
