One of the most familiar couples of the Telugu and Tamil Film Industry, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu (Samantha Akkineni) has announced an official statement about their separation on 2nd October 2021. After spending four years as a married couple under the same roof, they decided to make a conclusion about this relationship. A joint statement is found on Samantha Ruth’s Official Instagram account as stated below about the declaration of their separation.
“To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us,”
They also added few humble words for their fans and followers to give some support in this tough period of their life.
“We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during the difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
Before this, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had been consistently being featured in the NEWS headlines for the rumor about their segregation. But, end of the day, that rumor turned into reality. People started to notice this issue at the time of dropping Samantha Prabhu’s Surname Akkineni on social media. She also changed the display name of her Instagram account at that time.
Samantha made her debut on the digital platform with “The Family Man 2”. Films like Manam, Ye Maaya Chesave, and Autinagar Surya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was seen there as a co-actress with Naga Chaitanya. Besides being colleagues in the same industry, they had been good friends too. In 2017, they got married. But finally, for some personal issues, they had to take this crucial decision of their life.
